Spring School 2018 at SIIT, TU, Thailand

PARE Spring School 2018 was held in SIIT, TU Rangsit Campus, Thailand.
All programs from February 16th till 26th were successfully completed.
Here are some scene from our activities.
Thank you for attending and hope this experience be part of your fruitful and successful student activities.

Day 0: Warm Welcome by SIIT students at DMK&BKK airport

Day 1: Registration, Opening Ceremony, Orientation, Lecture 1, and Welcome Dinner at Swanlake

13:00- Students’ Presentation, country case study about rivers

 

15:30- Lecture 1: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alice SHARP (SIIT, TU)

 

18:00- Welcome Dinner at Swan Lake Restaurant

  

 

 

Day 2: Lecture 2, 3, 4, 5, and Orientation for Field Survey and Water Sampling

Day 3: Field Trip to Ayutthaya and Water Sampling at Upstream of Chao Phraya River

07:30- Depart from TU Rangsit Campus to Ayutthaya province

13:00- Water sampling of Upstream Chao Phraya river

Day 4: Koh Kret and TU Tha Phra Chan Cumpus, Water Sampling at Mid-stream

07:30- Depart from TU Rangsit Campus to Nonthaburi province

Water sampling of Midstream Chao Phraya river

#3 and #4 at Koh Kret and TU Tha Prachan Campus

 

Day 5: Klong Lad Pho Royal Project Flood Gate and Pom Phra Jul Navy Base, Water Sampling at Downstream

06:30- Depart from TU Rangsit Campus to Samut Prakan province

Lunch at Navy Base Restaurant and Guest Speech from Royal Irrigation Department

Water sampling of Downstream Chao Phraya river

#5 and #6 at Khlong Lad Pho Royal Project Flood Gate and Pom Phra Jul Navy Base

 

Day 6: Midterm Presentation and Cultural Night

Lunch by river after shower

Day 10: Self Study and Preparation for Final Presentation
